With a variety of art exhibitions within her history as an artist, Marilyn Murch is a seasoned professional artist. She focuses on the subtilties and essence of each subject for the creation of dynamic compositions of art. Combinations of color, texture, imagination and light enter her art as she creates. At Modesto Junior College she began her direction for her associates of arts degree and then finished it at Victor Valley College in Victorville, California. She has worked as an artist in drawing, painting in oil, watercolor and acrylic on paper, canvas and mural painting when she created two large wall murals for the Transportation Center for the North Thurston School District. She began working as a sculptor while she obtained a bachelor's degree in fine art at California, State University Stanislaus and thereafter. Some of her sculpture are "Descending Majestic", "Great Catch" and "Forest Shaman".
